About the Health Care Clinic & Dental Clinic

The Free Health Care Clinic will attend to the basic health care needs of the children and the local community. It will comprise of two large physicians offices and medical exam rooms, one isolation room, an entrance lobby with restroom facilities, a patient waiting area and a pharmacy.

The Dental Clinic consists of the dental examination room, treatment room, storage room, patient waiting area.

Also with separate restrooms for patient and staff use

IMANA Medical & Dental Clinic Was Opened on the 5th of September 2013 to the Community. Under the patronage of Chief Guest, Honorable. A.H.M. Fowzie, Senior Minister of Urban Affairs,  Guest of Honor, Honorable Jagath Angage Minister of Health, Indigenous Medicine, Social Welfare and Women’s Affairs, Probation & Child Care and Council Affairs –Western Province

The 1st day we had over 160 patients who lined up to be seen. We managed to see over 120 patients the first day and gave numbers for the 2nd day to avoid the chaos.  We are limiting the number of patients to 70 a day due to the resources available. There are 2 Doctors who see patients everyday for the moment.  The Clinic has proved to be a huge need to the community and may people from the village of all races, ethnic backgrounds and religions are treated here.
