Description
Hailing from Gothatuwa, ‘Irfan’ as he is known to his friends, spoke to me in fluent Sinhalese. He used to live with his Mother, Grandparents, Aunt , Older brother and Sister. Now that his Mother is abroad, he calls GLH ‘Home’.
Irfan does not speak any English, but says he is keen to learn it well. Although he does speak some Tamil, that is his least favorite subject to study.
Cricket is a sport he likes, which he says he plays with his friends, particularly Hassan. He also says to me he likes to study in his spare time, and would one day like to become a Computer Engineer.
