Description
An only child from Balangoda who lived with his Mother, Haseef seemed to display a toughness and maturity, beyond his years. His mother still lives at home, he tells me, matter of fact.
Keen to study English , Haseef pays special attention to that subject in school. He enjoys sports too, listing Cricket and Badminton as sports he regularly plays.
‘GLH is better than home’, he informed me, which I read to mean the facilities were better here than at home. He has a friend in Hassan, and usually likes to spend his spare time studying.
Being asked what brought him to the home, he answers that the purpose for him being here, was for him to study.
He will be a Police Officer when he grows up, he told me, before walking out of the room.
